We had a fantastic trip to Sherwood Pines this week.  Thank you to the parents who came to help.  Photos will be added as soon a possible!

Week beginning 2.10.17

As part of our speaking, listening and writing activities this week the children will need to bring in something from home that they can talk about with adults and their friends. It could be a holiday souvenir, a photograph of someone special, a good ‘find’ from a walk, a book or even a ticket from a special event. I’m sure the children will have some great ideas of what to bring. We would appreciate it if the children could bring things in on Tuesday 3rd October to remain in school for the rest of the week. Thank you for your support.

Week Beginning 18.09.17

This week we are reading the story 'Lost & Found' by Oliver Jeffers.  It is all about being lonely and then making friends.

Please talk with your children about the friends they have made so far in Reception.  Can they tell you the names of their friends?  Can they tell you what their friends like to eat or enjoy to do?  We have talked about these things during the day so you might be surprised about how much they know about each other!!
